Insegnare con… Goals

Everyone wants an English course that interests students, gets them using the language and trains them for exams. But what else do we need from our teaching materials?

In this webinar, we’ll look at how well-designed materials can pace language input effectively, give it meaningful context and help students to activate it faster. We’ll see how varied interactive multimedia components can motivate today’s students and promote inclusivity. But we’ll also discuss how to broaden students’ awareness of the important issues that affect their world, so they can develop as individuals. Generation Z students have more access to information than any previous generation in history: it’s up to us as teachers to help them think critically about that information, give them the skills and confidence to express their own opinions and be fully involved in the global community.

During the webinar, we'll be considering these topics − and more!

  • The 2030 Agenda (towards 2050), Global Goals and Citizenship (Educazione Civica)
  • Support for oral and written skills
  • Learner training and learner independence
  • Preparation for the Preliminary, Trinity and INVALSI examinations
  • Life skills
  • Digital interactive and multimedia components and the flipped classroom.
